I am against any short of brakeless clipless riding.
I’ve seen it go wrong for a few people and I want nothing to do with it.
99% of the time I’m sure it’s great.
But that one time you pop out, and you will pop out.
You are fucked!
If you want to do it use TIME pedals.
Sorry you can’t get them where you live though.

Sling bag 95% of the time. But I use a backpack every now and then.
